Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run
Peace Run - Southern Africa
In 1987 Sri Chinmoy inaugurated the Peace Run. The Peace Run is a grassroots relay for peace where a flaming Olympic style torch is carried by runners across cities, countries and continents. In Southern Africa we have found that the Peace Run is universally loved and accepted. Over the 10 or so years that we have been organising the southern African Peace Runs we have been privilaged to be able to run in most of the region's countries, some on many occasions. From 2003 - 2012 the Peace Run was also called the World Harmony Run.
