Free Meditation Classes Cape Town
The Sri Chinmoy Centre offers free meditation courses in Cape Town. Courses are generally run over a weekend with a three and a half hour session on both Saturday and Sunday. Our next weekend meditation workshop is in July in Rondebosch.
In the classes we cover the ABCs of meditation including the following:
- Learning to still the mind using the breath
- Mantras and meditation
- Music and meditation
- Creative visualisations
- Some of the philosophy behind meditation
- Why would a seeker need a meditation teacher?
- Tips on establishing and maintaining a daily practice of meditation
